Our Crowdfunding Groups
We, as WVU Medicine Children’s staff, would like to come together to help build the new children’s hospital by pooling our resources to name one of the four on call rooms in the new birthing center.
WVU Medicine has been serving the families of West Virginia and the surrounding region since 1960 when we first opened our doors as a new University Hospital in what is now the Health Sciences Center. This is now our moment to build a legacy and a new future for our patients and their families.
We need to GROW for families like the mom-to-be who just found out that her unborn baby has a heart defect that will require surgery shortly after she gives birth.
No gift is too small. By coming together, we can truly make a difference.
Each provider or staff member who gives a minimum of $50 will be recognized on permanent signage in the new hospital. Each unit’s sign will consist of individual honeycombs recognizing the name of each individual who gave or the name of the loved one they chose to honor/memorialize instead. An email will be sent to all donors meeting the minimum requirement to confirm the name they wish to have displayed on their honeycomb.
