The CPASS Visiting Committee includes 18 alumni from the College, representing multiple specialty areas and having experience spanning over several decades. They bring a wealth of knowledge to support the dean, strengthen the College and further the primary goal of helping students succeed in their endeavors at WVU and beyond. After 26 years as serving as dean, Dana D. Brooks will retire on June 30, 2019. The CPASS Visiting Committee has established the Dana Brooks CPASS Scholarship in his honor. This new award will benefit future students in the College and will operate in the Dean’s honor in perpetuity.
The endowment shall provide scholarships for undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at WVU in the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences. Eligible recipients are required to make satisfactory academic progress as determined by the WVU Office of Financial Aid. A student who is a recipient one year is eligible for consideration in any other year, provided they continue to meet the selection criteria outlined in the agreement.
