The senior students in the Clinical Laboratory Science and Histotechnology programs will receive their white coats on December 3, 2020. This annual event, now known as the MLS Bridging Ceremony, symbolizes the bridging of knowledge to practice as they will enter their clinical rotation in January. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s will be a virtual celebration. (To ensure that the students will have family members available to “coat” them, the event will be held on December 3rd as students will not return to the WVU campus after the Thanksgiving holiday.)
The Division of Medical Laboratory Science would like to invite you to support this tradition by becoming a student sponsor. Student sponsorship allows the Division to give these students a white coat to signify their transition to clinical rotations. You may choose to sponsor a particular student, a son or daughter, neighbor or friend. Our student sponsors will be recognized in the program.
To become a student sponsor and help support the ceremony, please click the "Make a Gift" button. Sponsorship deadline is December 1, 2020 however late gifts will be accepted. (Any gifts received after December 1st will not be recognized in the Bridging Ceremony Program).
