The West Virginia University American Society of Civil Engineers Student Chapter’s Steel Bridge Team won first place overall at the 2017 Virginias’ Conference Steel Bridge Competition. Our team is now in the midst of raising funds for the trip to the national competition being held in Corvallis, OR in May. With the national competition scheduled for next month, we are facing a tight fundraising deadline, and we need your help. Our team plans to drive from Morgantown, West Virginia to Corvallis, OR and the estimated cost for the trip, including transportation, lodging, meals, etc., is $15,000. Our team is excited to represent not only West Virginia University, and the State of West Virginia, but also ASCE Region 4 on a national level for the second year in a row!
