We are so excited to say that we've made it past the half-way point! We've made it to $1,200!!

We really could not have done this without the support from several generous donors!

This week, I would like to tell you about a previous event we held to raise money for our conference travel fund. In November, we held our annual Vera Bradley Bingo. We had many people attend, and ended up raising over $3,000 for our trip! It was a blast and everyone seemed to have a great time.

However, because there are 19 students attending this conference, the $3,000 does not spread very far for each student. With conference costs totaling over $600 for each student, we are still greatly in need of donations! We are so thankful for each person that has donated, and we encourage those that haven't to join in to help us reach our $2,000 goal!!

 We are currently at 31% ($620) of our $2,000 goal. We've had many very generous donors that we couldn't be more grateful for!

This year, the annual Audiology NOW! conference is in Nashville, TN. We could not be more excited! Last year, thirteen students were able to travel to Indianapolis to learn more about our field, present their research, and make connections with various professionals. We were given demonstrations of new technology, attended lectures about current hot topics, and joined in the general assembly to discuss future trends in our career. This conference is one of the largest audiology conferences in America, and this year, nineteen of us are fortunate enough to be able to attend. We look forward to learning more this year, and being able to apply what we learn to help our patients!
